With Hank taking over the GM spot, I assume Pedro will join that list.

Is there going to be a doubleheader?

Pedro was once the greatest pitcher in the majors. Those days are gone, however, and I hope and believe Hank will not make that mistake.

Jeeze, do you guys think Hank is that stupid. He may have the mouth of his father, but in Hank, I see a guy who knows what he's doing. He won't make a personnel decision that stupid.

Go ahead bpark keep assuming that. No way in hell that will ever happen. Martinez is nothing more than an overaged wreck whose best days are long gone. He hasn't come close to being able to stay healthy a full season for the last few years. This season is no different as he has only pitched 3 1/3 innings due to injuries. There's no way this team touch that mess with a 100 ft pole. Like I said before, he is 1 or 2 more injury stints on the DL from retiring alltogether.

Anyone who made that bonehead move deserves to be fired!!

Matt, its obvious Hank is tiring with the youth movement, if its not Pedro, it will be Wells or someone.

Oops I ment Excellent blog BRYAN.
Damon's value is bigger than Sui, its not just about hitting, Sui's is a liability in outfield, Damon has a weaker arm but he covers more ground. Damon is a bigger leader and could eventually be moved to 1B.

Hank is not George, Hank is a soccer man. Soccer players play way past their prime.

I don't believe Hank will go after Pedro. He's shown that he listens to Cashman and he's even letting rookies start. George Senior would of had a fit by now and demanded to trade for a starting veteran pitcher.

Okay, see! This is the way the Yanks have to be playing... ALL YEAR. Hungry, aggressive baseball. They better start taking some viagras or drinking some NOS! Because I'd hate to see a great Subway Series and then return to the old, bland baseball we wee playing.
Let's Go Yankees!

And I am proposing that Cashman is no longer there to be the voice of reason.
