Spring Game 18: Yankees vs. Phillies

Hello again from George M. Steinbrenner Field, where Esmil Rogers will try to make a good impression in the Yankees’ fifth-starter competition tonight against the Phillies at 7:05 p.m. ET.

The starting infield is on the diamond for New York. In injury updates, Jacoby Ellsbury met with reporters outside the clubhouse and said that he is “fully confident” that he will be ready to play on Opening Day. Ellsbury is expected to miss about a week of exhibition action with an oblique strain.

Tonight’s game will be televised on YES and ESPN, and can be heard on WFAN.
