Spring Game 6: Yankees at Astros

The Yankees have arrived here at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee, Fla., where they’ll face the Astros at 1:05 p.m. ET. The starting pitchers are Scott Baker for the Yankees and Dallas Keuchel for the Bucs.

Earlier this morning, Masahiro Tanaka threw a 29-pitch simulated game at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Pitching coach Larry Rothschild was encouraged, saying that Tanaka is exactly where he needs to be at this point. Tanaka’s next outing could come in a Grapefruit League game.

Here in Kissimmee, John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman are on the air for their first radio broadcast of the spring.

The Yankees should be looking for a good young 2nd baseman, they must have a few in camp that can hit and field better than Stephen Drew, he looks lost in the field and at the plate.
