Ichiro is most likely the most underrated player on the Yanks. The amount of playing time he has gotten so early in the season only demonstrates how poorly this club was put together by the genius general manager Cashman. It’s not money that you need it’s moxie. And Girardi’s inane and irrelevant comments to the press are truly not welcome.

I don’t like the match up for the Yankees the way our rotation has been pitching lately. What started out as a great looking rotation has fallen apart pretty quickly into the season through suspension and injury and poor performance. I don’t like our chances with any of these matchups especially given the big bats of the Angels team. This could be a kind of turning point for the Yankees in the season. They could finish in 1st place or 2nd or3rd after this series.

The rotation, which looked so good a couple of weeks ago, is in tatters. Time for people to step up.
