Game 20: Yankees at Red Sox

BostonThe Yankees continue their road trip tonight, opening a three-game series against the Red Sox here at Fenway Park. Yes, a good mix. Proviso is if they all stay healthy. If the injury bug bites us in key positions we could end up struggling. Hopefully Nuno will get the job done in Nova’s place or they might have to bring in a vet with a good record. Good to see Tex hitting the ball solidly(when he doesn’t strike out) and Jeter contributing at the plate and staying healthy. Solarte had a really off night at the plate. He looked like he was swinging at bad pitches which he hadn’t been doing up to last night and trying too hard. Maybe he needs a night off and put Johnson or Anna at 3rd. Soriano frustrates me with his wild swings at bad pitches. He lets the good ones go by and then swings at pitches way out of the strike zone.

I too———-like this team. Nice mix of players who are willing to play their role. And even better——–no drama!

All I can post is Master Tanakaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I like this team!!!!!!!!!!!!!
