Spring Game 2: Yankees at Pirates

Grapefruit League action gets underway this afternoon for the Yankees, as they’ll face the Pittsburgh Pirates at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, Fla.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET, and while there is no Yankees TV or radio for this contest, the Pirates’ KTKA radio feed is available via MLB.com.

Injury report: Francisco Rondon complained of a sore arm. Matt Daley has a sore calf. Nik Turley is on day five of a seven-day throwing shutdown. Tyler Austin will have his sore wrist examined today.

up 5-2 in the 7th and Chase Whitley puts on 2 runners and gives up home run. I remember Whitley last year in spring training. He wasn’t very good then. You always want the Yankees to win every game but it’s spring training so need to be patient.


From what i can see, this story is a year old, because Andy is no longer w/us. Why would anyone care about what happened a year ago?
