The 5th inning was disturbing for this Yankee fan. First, Nova is NOT pitching well at all. His pitches are getting way to much of the plate and he is struggling almost everytime out. Secondly, the body language between Nova and Martin was disturbing. It appeared that neither one was on the same page at all. Nova gave a real DIRTY look into his catcher on the strikeout that ended the inning. Thirdly, and this disturbed me more than anything, I did NOT see much effort of out Russell Martin on Granderson throw from centerfield. Fact is, to me. it lacked any effort. A friend of mine, who is a Dodger fan, told me that Martin would get on my nerves. He accomplished that in the 5th inning. Frankly, I’d prefer Stewart catching to Martin’s right now.
