This information from the Yankees’ media relations department:

GRAND ENTRANCE: The Yankees hit their Major League-leading seventh grand slam of the season in Friday’s win vs. Boston… have led the Majors each of the previous two years (2010-11) and have combined for a Major League-high 27 grand slams over the last three seasons, more than double the next-best teams (BOS, MIA, STL and TB tied with 13) .
 Both of Granderson’s grand slams this season have come with two outs.

GIVE IT A 10: The Yankees have scored at least 10R in a game five times all season, three of which have come against the Red Sox (4/21 and 7/6 at Fenway, and Friday).

AT 100: The Yankees earned their 60th win of the season on Friday vs. Boston… marks the 47th time in franchise history–and the fourth straight year–the Yankees have recorded their 60th victory within the team’s first 100 games…have advanced to the playoffs in each of the last 10 years they have won at least 60 of ther first 100 games in a season.

Robert. Seeknay. I’m back after being on a cruise to the Baltic for 2 weeks. Well it’s been interesting. ARod knocked out with a broken hand for 8 weeks. Replacement? Not sure Chavez and Nix and Pena will do it for the long term. Who to bring in? Then when ARod back where does the replacement fit? Who knows what ARod will be like after being off so long. he hasn’t been great this year anyway. CC never pitches well when the game is delayed and he has to sit around for a few hours. Seems to be his mantra. Hope we can win this series. Can’t afford to get complacent or too confident at this point in the year even with a commanding lead in the division. Bad losses to Oakland obviously. 4 in a row? Series sweep? I know Oakland has been hot but come on. Anyway, got to win tonight. Hope it’s one of Kuroda’s better performances.
