Spring Game 31: Yankees at Marlins

April 2, 2012, 7:05 p.m. ET, Marlins Park, Miami, Fla.

Today is Day 2 of dress rehearsals for the Marlins and their new stadium, and tonight we’ll see how it plays when the lights come on. After the game, most of the team will fly back to Tampa, with a light squad taking the bus up to Port St. Lucie to see the Mets. We’re officially in the home stretch of Spring Training now; only one home game, to be played on Wednesday, remains on the Yankees’ schedule before everything gets going for real. Sitting here in a big league ballpark, though, it kind of feels like we’re already underway.

Raul Ibanez gets the start in left field tonight for New York behind Hiroki Kuroda, who’ll be tuning up for his Saturday start against the Rays in the real game No. 2 of the season.
