Charlie Furbush LHP (3-8, 4.84)

Umpires: HP – Tim Timmons, 1B – Mike Muchlinski, 2B – Jeff Kellogg (CC), 3B – Mark Carlson.

Weather: It’s shaping up as a pleasant but cool evening in Seattle. The sky looks overcast beyond centerfield and the flags are almost completely still.

This and that: Friday could mark Alex Rodriguez’s return to the lineup … just a night off for Curtis Granderson … Girardi said he thought about using Dellin Betances or Andrew Brackman last night as the Yankees pulled away. He’d like to get them into a laugher … The Yankees aren’t sure if Francisco Cervelli’s season is over. They’re going to treat his concussion very conservatively.

Joe Girardi on A.J. Burnett: “I think he can get better and better. His changeup was the best I’ve ever seen it the other day. It still comes down to being able to locate your fastball, and I think his curveball has been better with the depth rather than going across.”

I’m still here guys but I can’t take these games from out west that go to 1:00 or 2 in the morning. I’m either not a big enough booster of the Yankees to stay up that late or I’m getting older and need more sleep, but I’ll be back on track once the Yankees return to our time zone. Obviously RG and Seek you guys can stay up half the night and function normally the next day. Great series so far against the Mariners. Obviously AJ got it together in the later innings and kept the Mariners to a couple of runs. Let’s hope that Nova can continue tonight and get us a sweep. When is ARod due to come back? He hasn’t done much all year for what he’s being paid. Is his thumb/finger sprained or broken? He’s been out long enough.

You have to believe that the guys playing behind this jerk are thinking, why the hell is this clown making $18 million a year for this crap???? Seriously, everyday players have to be fed up with this bum.

God I cannot stand this guy on the mound. Walks, wild pitches. hit batters etc. This guy is the BIGGEST headcase since Pavano. It is as if this guy doesn’t want to pitch for the Yankees. Again I say regardless of what happens this year, PEDDLE THIS BUM DURING THE OFFSEASON.
