A-Rod done at SWB, says he won’t play Thursday
Alex Rodriguez’s time with the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees is complete. He played eight innings at third base tonight against the Durham Bulls and was 1-for-2 with a RBI and two walks. He had five chances in the field, making one error.
Rodriguez told reporters at the game that he is heading to Minneapolis to join the Yankees, but won’t play Thursday.
“I think there is a progression,” Rodriguez said. “I think one of the things we talked about was playing a few games, taking a day off. I think that is going to be the exact schedule when I get up there.”
