I attended the Yankees game on Tuesday April 12th the game that was
canceled due to inclement weather. The following morning (today) I
called and spoke to Simone in the ticket department I was asking
questions about getting either new tickets or the rain date. It was my
fiancée anniversary present and as she is a Yankees fan and has never
been to a game. I asked if I could have new tickets mailed out to me
she said all exchanges must be done in person. I then was hung up on
as I was explaining my dilemma that I live 2 1/2 hours away in south
jersey. I called back and got the same person when I asked to speak to
her supervisor she connected me back to the main menu after thinking
it might be a mistake I called back and was again connected to the
same person where I mentioned to her she hung up on me and then she
said “she hadn’t hung up on any one today”. I promptly asked to be
connected to a supervisor where she again forwarded me to the main
menu. I then spoke to a woman who was able to connect me directly to
Kevin Dart I left him a message and am awaiting a phone call back. As
a paying customer and a huge baseball fan I am appalled by the service
provided by the New York Yankees I would expect better service from a
team that has won 27 world championships.
