Gaudin elects free agency, Mesa added to 40-man roster
Some brief housekeeping updates from the Yankees this afternoon -
- RHP Chad Gaudin and LHP Royce Ring were both outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, removing them from the Yankees 40-man roster. Gaudin has elected free agency.
- OF Melky Mesa was added to the 40-man roster.
- LHP Manny Banuelos, C Austin Romine and INF Brandon Laird were named to the Arizona Fall League Rising Stars team.
