Greetings from Cleveland

cleveland.jpg

Hello from the road once more, as the Yankees open up a seven-game trip to see the Indians and Rays.
There are two things I can report from my journey between the airport and the hotel — one, the Bruce Springsteen exhibit is still going on at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (and is probably worth a second look), and two, the giant LeBron James “We Are All Witnesses” poster has been unceremoniously ripped from the side of a building facing the Quicken Loans Arena.
Someone suggested I should spend this week asking people wearing Cavs gear what they think of LeBron. Um, no thanks, I’ll pass. But we all may be witnesses to Alex Rodriguez’s 600th home run tonight – A-Rod said yesterday that he expects to play, and we should know for sure this afternoon when Rob Thomson posts the lineup card.

Hey Brian, What do you think if any will be the next sign or trade for the Yanks before the deadline? I’m hearing Adam Dunn and is Oswalt an option or is he off the radar? Also, do you have a time-table on when Nick Johnson will be coming back?

Carmona to the Yankees is a must. Low salary. Less prospects. Under team control for a long time. Dominated Rays.
