Greetings from Target Field
So far, so good. I found the new stadium, which is a nicer walk from downtown than the old Metrodome was, and entered through Gate 29 – so named for Rod Carew. Neat first impression – the handles on the gates are shaped like the state of Minnesota.
The Yankees are on the field stretching and getting acquainted with the new place, which seems like a good idea. Wonder how Nick Swisher is going to feel about the flower box that hangs over right field? Really neat place upon first impression.
