Yankees call up Moeller, Russo
The Yankees have called up C Chad Moeller and UT Kevin Russo from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for tonight’s game. C Jorge Posada has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, RHP Mark Melancon was optioned to Triple-A and 1B/DH Nick Johnson has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
