- Alex Rodriguez had little comment about the report that said he’ll meet with federal investigators on Friday regarding Dr. Anthony Galea. “I have nothing to add,” A-Rod said, before asking if there were any baseball questions. He said his spring was “so far, so good,” and said, “I’m definitely playing tomorrow (Thursday).”
- The lineup posted in the Yankees clubhouse had Francisco Cervelli coming in as a defensive replacement at third base.
- The Yankees hosted their annual spring luncheon today at the Tampa Marriott Waterside to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.
- Mark Teixeira and Nick
Johnson lead the Yankees with 3 HRs
… Jon Weber leads the team with a
.571 BA (minimum 20 at-bats) … Mitre leads the Yanks with 14 K’s. …
Through nine home games, the Yankees lead the Grapefruit League in
total attendance (94,030). - Nick
Swisher
has a eight-game hitting streak (9-for-23) … Jorge Posada is 9-for-16
with 4 RBIs and 5 R in his last six games … Robinson Cano
has hit safely in eight of 11 games, with multiple hits in four of
those games.

Looks like the opening day lineup! Which helmet will Gazoo wear in the field at third base?
Good update, Mr. Hoch. I’m curious to see what will happen with A-Rod on Friday. I also read your piece on AJ Burnett. I wrote something about him today…

I saw the Nats lineup elsewhere! Without Zimmerman, Gazoo has no worry playing third base!!!
