Wow, what a great game. Great pitcher’s dual tonight, Burnett and Beckett were both dominant. Well pitched game throughout though, both team’s bullpen pitched extremely well. Great win for the Yankees, absolutely!

Does anyone know if Fox TV carrying Yankee vs Red Sox game on Saturday?

AJ is really working on the edge, I hope it last. 88 pitches only 44 are strikes, Not good. We need to score now. Go Yankees!

Like this

Yeah AJ! Way to pitch out of a jam! Great Pitching Dual! I keep saying play for one run game!!!!

Like this

Good pitching battle only one hit each. But neither is dominant. Too many pitches. AJ seems to have lost the strike zone, 4 walks, 1 K. not a good ratio. We all know Arod and Tex are .300 hitters, I hope they find their way soon. We need their bats.
Smoltz has been Put out for assignment, What’s your take on this? SUI singles, Lets go get some runs.. Go Yankees!

Jeter grounds out! We need Thurman Munson, Mr. Clutch!

Baseloaded and two outs and Jeter at bat!!!!

tgooch that was an horrendous baserunning mistake by Matsui. He’s a veteran not a rookie and he needs to pull his head of out his *SS. If he had tagged up and gotten to 3rd on that play it changes the entire makeup of the inning.

Like this

Matsui baserunning mistake! More games are lost to baserunning mistakes!

We should’ve bunted runners over especially with Beckett Pitching!

Like this

Beckett does a good job of hiding the ball!

Runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs with #9 batter please bunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Pitcher’s toughest inning is the 1st. AJ looked strong in the 2nd! Let’s go Yankees! Great pitching matchup between Burnett and Beckett!

Like this

Not a good start for AJ, 5 strikes 10 balls, He is very lucky to get out the inning. This could be a long game. I’m hoping he corrects himself before we are looking at coming from behind to win. Josh is a tough foe. GO YANKEES!
