Just read the blosox are looking @ Lee & Martinez from the Wahoos. Are you kidding me? Cashman is looking @ Arroyo. It’s time for a new GM!

If I were the Yankees I’d inquire seriously about Brandon Morrow. He has the stuff to be a really solid #3 SP, or a really good arm in the bullpen. See what his price is, maybe the Yankees can find a great deal there, who knows. I seriously hope the Yankees don’t go after neither Jarrod Washburn or Bronson Arroyo, too much $ for both and neither are really that big upgrades in my opinion…

Another solid win tonight, Burnett was definitely on his game again tonight. He was a great sign for the Yankees, and has been a horse all season. Hopefully him and CC can keep it up, because they have put this rotation on their backs’ and have been steam-rolling opponents. If Mr. Cashman can make a move for a solid starter to compliment those 2, the Yankees will be tough to beat. I’d like to make a play at an OF that can play everyday, as to push Swisher to the bench. Adding Swisher to a bench that already has Eric Hinske on it, makes it the deepest bench the Yankees have had in a while, one with capable and powerful bats on it. Possibly a move for a player like Josh Willingham, if that would be possible.

Mussina was done, s51. He himself knew it, which is why he retired when he did.

I’m sorry but were Cano’s HR, 3B and 2 runs scored not enough? Or was he also supposed to hit for the cycle, steal 2 bases, make 2 spectacular plays and pitch a scoreless 9th?

Perhaps but the M’s will not resign him and getting something is better than nothing. At this point the Yankees still need a #5 to get them into the playoffs. Sure wish Mussina did not retire.

If the M’s are offering Washburn I’d take him over Arroyo. Snell would be an interesting trade.

THANKS!!!

Also, random comment….. any reason why Cano does not hustle twice already this game, but yet is still in the game?
