I cant believe cashman gives away veras for nothing no prospects, no player or players in return management should take a hard look at what he is doing. andy

brian cashman needs his head examined i have been disapointed with a lot of his moves the last five years now is it that our scouting is not what it used to be which i would blame on brian for not getting the best if your going to throw money around the way we do letting veras go for nothing but money once again you have to question what cashman is trying to do if anything. lets get better scouting
and get some help for brian when it comes to making trades
because lets face it he is auful he does not evaluate talent or his scouting people are terrible. andy

If Cashman was’nt so busy defending his choice for manager he could have found time to get a couple of project players instead of cash-like they need the money. Get rid of that LAWN NOME with the oversized hat. There is no pedigree. The BOSS would have fired him after the disaster in Fenway. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

funny…. the indians win first game at stadium with veras getting the loss. now they trade for him. by the way ca$hman, as your name indicates, the yankees are in no need of cash. what did you get? 500K? I know that I’d dream of getting 500K but in $teinbrenner world, that’s chump change.

I’m sure Veras will end up in the top 5 of the saves category now. How many Pesos did Cashman get for him? Put a fork in the Yankees folks. Their season is over.
