News galore postgame at Fenway

The Yankees have placed Chien-Ming Wang on the disabled list with weakness in both hips and have summoned Dave Robertson to Boston for Saturday’s game. In addition, Cody Ransom suffered a right quadriceps injury on an eighth-inning stolen base and will also be placed on the disabled list, with an infielder to be named (Angel Berroa?) to be called up from Triple-A.

Finally, Brian Bruney left in-game and headed to New York for examinations on what Joe Girardi called a “cranky elbow.” Bruney will have a battery of tests performed with Dr. Chris Ahmad and the Yankees will keep their fingers crossed.

My results differ! And the Bradley thing is a third party playing you two against each other! Same mentality as cock or dog fights! JMHO (Just my humble opinion)

BP,
Wrong there too. Keyswahili and Matthew are NOT the same person. I have proof!!!

BP,
NO!!! Look closely at the 9:24 AM post. It is not from Matthew, but an imposter calling himself mattysaiki!

BP,
We traded Gonzo because we had plenty of shortstop types with great gloves and no bats! Cusick is playing 2B in the farm system, I think Trenton but it may be Tampa!

It was just officially announced that Brian Bruney was placed on the 15-day disabled list. Mark Melancon has been called up.

Marte did a great job. When he went for the second inning of work i thought he was just going to get papi out. He did. Next came Youk. I told my family: Marte is gonna lose control soon. He did. HR Kevin Youk. Marte did the same thing in Texas last year. He was just stretched out too far and got tired…

THE LATEST NEWS: INF Angel Berroa, RHP David Robertson and RHP Mark Melancon are on the way from Triple-A Scranton. They will replace INF Cody Ransom (right quad), RHP Chien-Ming Wang (sore hips) and apparently RHP Brian Bruney (right elbow).

This team needs some serious bullpen help, and fast. Why is Marte out there for a 2nd inning last night, especially facing right handed hitters? I swear sometimes Girardi makes some of the dumbest decisions (or non-decisions) I’ve seen in a while from a manager. Granted Mo didn’t do his job, but overall this bullpen has been rather shaky, and they need someone other than Bruney to step up on a consistent basis and get guys out.

That’s bad news about Bruney, I’m not sure Robertson will be able to handle Fenway. Unlucky for Ransom, he finally puts together one or two decent ABs then gets injured. Whoever that is above, that’s incredibly puerile and pathetic.

Glad the Yankees were able to find “something” wrong with Wang.
