Brrr

It’s cold and rainy here at Yankee Stadium, and the forecast doesn’t look extremely promising for baseball here tonight. We’ll see, but it wouldn’t be a shocker to see the Yankees and A’s head home early. Jason Giambi is set to talk in a press conference at 4:30 p.m. so you’d imagine the Big G will have something interesting to say – he always does.

I’m still finding my way around this ballpark. My seat in the open-air press box here is in the front row, so there was wind and precipitation blowing in as I tried to set up my laptop. That wasn’t going to fly, so I went searching for a warmer, drier place to sit. There was a room in the back with the lights off, so I set up. Sweeny Murti of WFAN came in and asked why I was sitting in the audio work room when there’s a print work room literally one door down.

My response: “There’s a print work room?”

Thomas was cut, Taylor was traded. Both dumped by Parcells. The Eagles are considering trading up because they are worried Morena will go to Miami.

The GM of the New York Yankees may be the worst ever at the best job in the world. Which is why he’ll inevitably fail this year in his shameless attempt to buy a World Series.

Thats been confirmed already, Wang is being skipped but he needs to work on mechanics in Tampa

Parcells would trade Brown and draft a new back, pay him less and its his guy.
Parcells told the Yankees to hire LaRussa (George’s choice), they hired Girardi.
Credit Aussie B on this one: Although I seem to always watch when Gardner hits, the longer Cabrera stays around, the more likely we see him back in CF permanently.

No, he won’t be sent down but he could sent to Tampa to rehab/work on mechanics and stay on active roster.

Hey, bpark23, you can’t send down Wang without passing him through waivers, he’s out of options! And BELIEVE ME, some GM out their would give up half of his arm to have a guy like Wang.

TEN SEND HIM TO THE D.L.
HE CAN NOT PITCH FRIDAY AGAINST BOSTON!!!!

I have never even travelled to Boston.
Btw, Parcells is shopping Ronnie Brown, He dumped Taylor and Thomas last year, Parcells would clearly fit your philosophy. Would you like him running the Yankees with LaRussa has his choice for coach?

13 gams in and the offence is averaging 5.4 runs per game, this without AROD is not bad at all. The runs scored against 87 at 6.7 is on paper horrible but Wang has been responsible for games where would you believe 44 out of the 87, thus the pitching has not been bad in the other ten he has not been involved.

What is of concern is now the lack of back up even with AROD. It appears Molina, Pena, Ransom and Nady even if he goes DH as reported In June. I am a big fan of Melky and also Gardner ( if he can get on base ). Gardner may have one the starting CH job, but I believe Melky has performed at a higher level when he has been involved in some way.

The concern is what if Jeter Cano or Tex gets hurt.

I would like the team to bite the bullet and call up Jackson and Miranda in place of Nady and Pena. Give the two exposure to the majors, certainly in Jacksons case. I would also based on the same reasons call up Melancon and Hughes and send down Wang and Coke ( sounds like a good drink ). The team needs back up and they need that with a dose of youth and potential.

Finally something sensible. B, its not the runs scored, this pitchers were suppost to pitch shutouts.

Once again, the Suks fan bpuke chimes in with another deluded post. What’s the matter, no life in Boston? Still missing your boyfriend Manless Ramirez? Get a life and get out of your parent’s basement and get yourself another boyfriend.

The weather is not looking good. We were lucky to have the early game here in Boston. I don’t know about tomorrow in NY, but the weather is suppose to be pretty miserable here.
