Looks like a full bus for the trip to Fort Myers tomorrow. Mark Teixeira, Robinson Cano, Hideki Matsui, Nick Swisher and Brett Gardner are among those saddling up for the 2 1/2 hour trip to play the Twins … Missed this yesterday, but Eric Duncan drove in two runs in his first spring at-bat … Tomorrow’s Andy Pettitte/Jorge Posada fun fest gets underway at 1 p.m. in a Double-A/Triple-A scrimmage … Fun fact – the Yankees’ projected rotation has allowed 12 earned runs in 37 innings this spring, a 2.92 ERA. They’ve allowed 36 hits and four walks with 26 strikeouts.

Actually, it doesn’t create a free for all. They board the plane by groups;I’ve never had a problem getting the seat i want.

Besides, I like free for alls…I have no problem knocking an old lady down to get my seat by the window. What can I say….I’m almost as bad as Albert Belle.

I’m not a huge fan of the open seating only because it creates a free-for-all at the gate. But that said, I think I’m flying them out of Kansas City to get to Tampa next month.

(Why do we automatically come back to Tampa for a three-game set with the Rays?)

Southwest is cool like that. Best flight you can take-safe, cheap, free bevs and snacks, on time, friendly service, open seating….southwest just rocks.

I want to be on this guy’s flight.
