Burnett fights the flu
What is it with the Yankees clubhouse this spring? A.J. Burnett is the latest guy to catch what’s going around.
Burnett was sent home Thursday but went through his full workout Friday, feeling well enough to perform fielding drills and running even though Joe Girardi told him he didn’t have to.
Meanwhile, Bernie Williams completed his workout schedule at camp and is off to the World Baseball Classic, with a stop in Puerto Rico to help with some advance promotions.
